We picked an Indigo Bunting for our Colombian coffee because they summer around our island and winter as far south as Colombia. Imagine this little bird flying as far south as Colombia.
This particular Indigo Bunting visited our bird feeder this summer (2013). Our feeder is not quite as fancy as the one in the painting . . .
